What is Jesus telling us? Why does Jesus tell us to “watch out”?

When have you believed that you would find happiness if you owned a certain item? What

happened?

Read Matthew 6:19-21

Have you had the experience of losing an earthly treasure because it rusted out, broke or was

stolen? If so, how did you feel about this loss?

What are the “treasures in heaven” that Jesus calls us to “store up”?

It’s been said that when we die, the only things we can take with us are what we have given

away. How can you invest more in these eternal treasures?

Why is it more blessed to give than to receive?

How can you be generous like Jesus was generous?  What difference will that make in your life

and the lives of others?
