• What are the extraordinary events in your life that are easy to be grateful for?

• What are the ordinary events in your life that are easy to be grateful for?

Read Colossians 3:12-17.

• After listing qualities like compassion, kindness, patience, humility etc., why does Paul ask the church to grow in gratitude?

• How does that develop Christ-like character?

Read Psalm 103: 1-5.

• In order to be grateful, we must begin by seeing the gifts that God gives to us as being good.

• Is that easy or difficult for you?  Why?

• As you grow in gratitude, how can you start with the small details of your life?  How can you begin to be grateful for those who are closest to you?

• How does gratitude keep us from taking others for granted?

• This week how can you bless God?  If you need a starting point, try praying Psalms 107:1. “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
