Ice Breaker: Who is the best listener you know? What makes them such a good listener?
Read James 1:19
James tells us to be “quick to hear, slow to speak.” Have you had situations where you did the opposite- slow to hear, quick to speak? What’s the problem with that?
Read Luke 18: 35-43
What must the life of the blind man have been like?
Do you ever feel that you have lost something that once was precious to you?
How does the blind man respond when he hears that Jesus is passing by?
Why is the blind man rebuked for calling out to Jesus?
How have you been discouraged from seeking Jesus? What did you do about it?
How do you think the blind man felt when Jesus stopped and commanded him to be brought to Him?
Why does Jesus ask the blind man what he wants Jesus to do for him?
What does that tell us about Jesus?
