What does this parable reveal about the character of God?

Jesus mentions three people who are not able to attend the banquet because of various excuses. What are some of the things in your own life that get in the way of you accepting the invitation to participate in the Kingdom of God?

Ask the Lord to show you someone in your life who is waiting for an invitation to the banquet. Have you been withholding an invitation to someone?

In what ways can you participate in going to the streets, alleys, roads and country lanes to invite others to the banquet?
