How did it feel when you knew you would be reunited with your family and friends?
Read Genesis 43:15-34
What is a simple definition of guilt? If you are consumed with guilt, how does that shape your life?
What is a simple definition of grace? If you are consumed with grace, how does that shape your life?
How did the brothers feel as they made their way back to Egypt with their brother Benjamin? Why did they have these feelings?
Why were they terrified (Verse 18) when the entered Joseph’s house?
What were they hoping their gifts would accomplish when they returned to Egypt?
In contrast, what did Joseph feel when his brothers returned to Egypt-when they entered his home and they exchanged gifts?
How did guilt and grace color each of these events?
How is the guilt of the past shaping your future?
